We create structures in companies to define and delegate responsibility for the individual's role with the expressed consequence of preventing pressure and creating accountability. If you create breath-taking structures and organizational charts that are hard to grasp even for the parties involved, you create a place to hide. If you on the other hand use a structure that is easy to understand, apply and develop for corporates and business units separately and as a whole, you stand a better chance of defining responsibility and demanding accountability.
